About Zomersalon Royaal – SKIN:
‘Skin’ is the theme of this edition of the annual ZomerSalon Royaal. Apparently an inspiring subject, because more than a hundred entries were received from artists from Southeast and the wider area. The various work can be seen until August 26.
Paintings, graphics, ceramics, wood, paper – all kinds of materials and shapes have been used by more than a hundred trained and aspiring artists who are participating in this year’s ZomerSalon Royaal. A special exhibition, because everyone can participate. And everyone has a chance to see the submitted work next year in the public space in Amsterdam Zuidoost.
As in previous years, three juries (a professional jury, a jury of CBK employees and the public) choose their favorite works. They are photographed, enlarged and printed on canvas and then hung in the public space. Last year’s winners can be seen from next week on the wall of Sportcentrum Bijlmer opposite CBK Zuidoost.
