Last Saturday, September 23rd, the book presentation of Ala Sma Tori, Keti Koti Verbeeld took place in CBK Zuidoost. At the start, Winti priestess Marian Markelo, did a libation. Gran tangi!
Also thanks to Delano Mac Andrew for the interview, to Noémi Beyer for the poetry lecture, LM Publishers for publishing the book and to all the guests who were present on site and those who were there in the spirit! Thanks also to all interviewees who posed, holding up the mamyo with their quotes sewn on it, which I have been painting on cotton, with all kinds of home made ink.
The blouse with mamyo/patch fabric is from Bobo-couture, my favorite shop in the Shopperhal at the Bijlmerplein in Amsterdam South East.
