The Arti Salon 2023, the yearly Group Exhibition of Arti et Amicitiae artist members can be visited up until Saturday December 23rd. The opening times of these last days are:

Wednesday December 20th from 12:00 – 18:00
Thursday December 21st from 12:00 – 22:00
Friday December 22rd from 12:00 – 22:00
Saturday, December 23nd from 12:00 PM – 18:00

It is a beautiful varied exhibition that gives an impression of what contemporary artists have been working on this last year: sculpture, painting, drawing, textile art, photography, video art, mixed media, you name it. The exhibition is spread over different halls on the first floor. My portrait of Revé Terborg, can be seen in the last hall. The portrait is shown together with a copy of the book ALA SMA TORI Keti Koti Verbeeld in which her portrait (together with 78 other portraits) and her interview with her personal quote written in ink on a cotton cloth (one of 30) are featured.

While you are there, do go and have a drink / bite in the beautiful ‘Societeit’, sit on furniture by the famous architect Berlage and admire the beautiful painting “Looiersgracht” by G.H. Breitner, who had an overview exhibition here in 1901 and 1902. By the way the table on which my book is presented, was borrowed from the Societeit on the ground floor and is a design by Berlage too.
