After a long break, the Shoebox Gallery, a gallery in a shoebox, initiated by Nico Lootsma, is on the road again with their new exhibition “East meets West” with six artists from the East and West of the Netherlands. Three artists from the East were paired with three artists from the West. They were asked to make something on A6 format. This was then sent, edited and returned. This is how six artworks were eventually created that are now on display in The Shoebox Gallery. The process has been made visible in a catalogue, which will appear in due time.

The successful start was on Tuesday March 25th in Hengelo. The continuation and the finishing will take place in Amsterdam. At the finishing, there will also be something to drink. You are most welcome.
