The KunstKamer
From November 9th until november 13th I am working on my drawing / painting project ‘Amsterdamse Mensen’. The KunstKamer (ArtRoom) project has been initiated by Atelier Open and offers a space in Amsterdam where, for a period of seven months, each one of seven artists may stay and work and be inspired by the neighborhood for five days. The artists can use the printing press and other materials of Atelier Open. The first, October, artist in residence was Judith Zwaan. And after me there will be Iris Depassé, Irene van den Bos, Kasper Jongejan. Dorien Bellaar and Shelley Savor.
At the end of the project there will be a presentation / exhibition of the works these seven artists have produced during their stay. The project runs from October 2017 until April 2018.
