SIRENES at TOON

My collage series SIRENES is now on show and for sale at TOON. For this series I have combined images from vintage hair salon magazines as well as from old books about tropical fish. I cut, weaved and intertwined them to make a new, surreal image. Then I stitched them on white cotton cloth with different colors of sewing machine thread, going through and over the image itself, adding a the feeling of running water, water plants and hair.
