Hardly ever do I mention on my website that besides my work as a visual artist / art teacher I sing in a band, Arizona Highways. Every beginning of a new season we perform in the smallest, cosiest and most beautiful theater in Amsterdam: Torpedo Theater, inviting musicians, writers, visual artist, scientists, you name it, according to a certain theme, such as Cold and Lonely (winter 2018), Travelling (summer 2018), Mother Land (Christmas 2019). These special evenings are called ¡CLUB FANTASMA!. All posters for ¡CLUB FANTASMA! are made by me (collages & design).

Due to the corona situation, Spring Cleaning, our Spring Edition for 2020 has been postponed. First we thought it would be for three months but with things rapidly worsening again after the summer we just don’t know when we will be able to rehearse again, let alone perform. Things are tough for our dear theater and that’s why the Karin van Ringen Fund has started a crowdfunding campaign to keep the theater going.
