The exhibition ‘ROOD’ (=red), organized in Café Eijlders by Atelier Open, is finished. I feel tremendously honored that ‘Ron’, the portrait I especially made for this exhibition, at this location, of Ronald M. Offerman, poet and painter, bartender in the café for many years – he often performed and exhibited there – my beloved friend and colleague, was sold to his dear widow (Ron passed away in May 2020, due to the effects of Covid 19 ), Mieke Bolte.
