This year’s theme for the group exhibition Salon 2014 at artist society Arti et Amicitiae (Amsterdam) is ‘time off’ (‘vakantiewerk’).
All artists will sometimes take time off their serious projects. In between, in preparation, or as an experiment. Sometimes these works can be more honest / truer or better than the “real thing”. The theme of this Salon is: Time off. Show your holiday work, show a work of ultimate relaxation and liberation. Which work takes time off and turned out very well, disarming, or free?

When I am relaxing or when when I am on vacation, I love to draw, using a fine black felt pen, sometimes adding water color.  I selected two small drawings, made in New York (last summer, 2013) .

Opening June 27 from 19:00 – 22:00.
The exhibition lasts until July 13.
