Christmas Stars – exhibition at CBK Zuidoost

From Saturday December 14th up until (and including) Saturday January 4th 2020, you can fully enjoy an exhibition of works of art from the CBK Zuidoost collection, compiled by staff, partners, customers, CKB ZOYoung, friends and acquaintances of CBK Zuidoost. Just imagine that these “Christmas stars” could just come and shine inside your house.

Lucy Hooft, who works at the gallery, chose this portrait I made during my Artist Resicency at BijlmAIR in 2017:

While I was there I had the honor to be invited to also choose a work of art for the exhibition. I fell for this painting by friend and fellow artist Rinaldo Klas, because we have recently worked together in Suriname and will be working together in the future again soon! And I love it f course. It will be on show in the same exhibition, opening tomorrow:
