More than seventy works were submitted this year by established names such as Maartje Jaquet (who will be exhibiting in the Open Space at Heesterveld from June 24th), Joep van der Bijl, Tamar Rosenblatt, Hamid El Kanbouhi and Peter van den Akker, and by hobbyists who taketheir art very seriously. Paintings, installations, collages and photos stand and hang in the space, waiting for the judgment of both a jury of experts and the public, who vote for the best work. The winners’ work is professionally photographed and printed on canvas, after which it can be seen for a whole year on the wall of Sportcentrum de Bijlmer on Anton de Komplein, opposite CBK Zuidoost.

The exhibition ZomerSalon Royaal runs from June 17th until August 20th 2022 and can be visited during the opening hours of CBK Zuidoost, Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
