Exhibition ‘AIR in Zuidoost’

CBK Zuidoost and the BijlmAIR artists of last period is busy preparing the new exhibition AIR in Zuidoost, Artist In Residence Group Exhibition. No less than 11 artists from the Netherlands and abroad (including Rinaldo Klas, Moritz Ebinger and me) stayed in CBK Zuidoost’s residence at Heesterveld last year and were commissioned to create work related to Amsterdam Southeast. All these works will be showcased from December 8th until February 25th.

The BijlmAIR residency programme is a collaboration between CBK Zuidoost, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and The Department of Paintings and Sculpture of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. We look forward to seeing you at the opening on December 8th, 18:00 – 21:00! Please RSVP here if you are planning on coming to the opening.

Do come and see for yourself, it will be a very interesting and diverse exhibition, with works in all kinds of media, by the following artists: Inge and Martin Riebeek (NL), Alvaro Aroca Cordova (Chile/Spain), Sel Kofiga (Ghana), Fatric Bewong (Ghana), Rinaldo Klas (Suriname), Maartje Jaquet (NL), Moritz Ebinger (Switzerland/NL), Sarah van Lamsweerde and Janneke Raaphorst (NL), Carmen Schabracq (NL).

The above works have been acquired bij CBK Zuidoost for its art lease program.
