FINO ALL’ ARCADIA – five cahiers sold

Linocut artist Edith Brouwer and I are collaboratings on a new project: FINO ALL’ ARCADIA. We have both learned the Italian language and we love the country, the culture, the people and the food. Edith and I make art on pages from a book (1909) with Italian poetry from the 15th and 16th centuries. It belonged to my grandfather Opa Henni. Edith makes linocuts, while I make watercolor drawings. Three pages of those pages with will be presented in a unique cahier made from catalogs of the same period as the poetry book of the then named Museum Boymans in Rotterdam.

We have sold five cahiers (some of which were assignments with a given word / theme, others containing free work) so far and we are ready to make new cahiers! If you are interested, send me an e-mail through mjaquet@xs4all.nl and we will be happy to make something for you!
